JAMES E. DAVIS,
90, of Moberly formerly of
Huntsville died Monday March 30, 2009 at Loma Linda Health Care.
James was born June 5, 1918 in
Akron, Ohio to James Thurman and Minnie Moppin Davis. He was Married to
Nannie Mae Davis she preceded him in death. He later married Jewell
Davis and she also preceded him in death.
Mr. Davis was preceded in
death by his parents, 3brothers, Virgil, Lowell and Vernon Davis and one
sister Zette Davis. He is survived by one daughter Mary Vydella Chapman
of Moberly; one brother David Davis of Rock Island, IL; four
grandchildren Troy Chapman (Shelia) of Fayette, Timothy Whitehead
(Regina) of De Moines, IA, Carla Tigue of Columbia and Carlos Chapman (Anntoinette)
of Kansas City, MO. And several nieces and nephews and other relatives.
James was a Track Foreman for
the Wabash and later for Norfolk and Western Railroad. He was a Baptist
by Faith. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family.
Memorial Service will be held
at 11:00 AM Thursday April 2, 2009 at Patton Funeral Home in Huntsville.
Inurnment with full military honors will be in the Huntsville City
Cemetery. There will be no visitation held.
Memorials can be made to the Donors Choice.
