FRANCES C.
BURTON, 90, of
Huntsville died January 9, 2009 at Moberly Nursing & Rehab in Moberly,
MO. Funeral Service will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at
the First Christian Church in Huntsville. Burial will be at the
Huntsville City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 PM Monday
at Patton Funeral Home in Huntsville.
Frances was born March 17,
1918 in Linn Co. MO to Arch and Maude Springer Brobst. She married John
W. Burton on January 30, 1942 in Keytesville, MO. He preceded her in
death on July 9, 1966.
Survivors include two sons
Jack Burton (Connie) of Moberly and Jesse Burton (Barbara) of
Huntsville; one daughter Judy Willer (Don) of Oakly, IL; ten
grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. Several Nieces and
Nephews.
Mrs. Burton was preceded in
death by her husband, 4 Brothers: Theodore Brobst, Louis Brobst, Doyle
Brobst, and Buel Brobst. 1 Sister: Tressie Head and 1 daughter-in-law
Judy Burton.
Frances was a member of the
1st Christian Church in Huntsville. She was also a member of the Dorothy
Chapter 30 Eastern Star. Frances had previously worked at Riley Beverage
Mart in Moberly. Frankie enjoyed spending time with her friends and
family. Memorials can be made to the Frances C. Burton Living Memorial
Scholarship Fund.
