ELLA POCAHONTAS
TOLSON,
81, of Oakland Ca. died Monday,
May 18, 2009 at her home in Oakland. Mrs. Tolson was born December 4,
1927 in College Mound, MO the daughter of William and Emma Gertrude
Davis Garth. She was married to Milton Tolson. He preceded her in death.
She Survives by two sons;
Patrick Lee and Micheal Lee of Oakland, CA; three daughters Saundra
Morman and Sandra Lee of Kansas City, MO, and Beverly Babatunde of
Seattle WA; one sister Wilma Alderson and husband Harold of Chicago, IL;
one sister-in-law Lorene Garth of Moberly, MO; six stepchildren Cynthia
Hyster and husband Elias, Nancy Reese, Jackie Tolson, Connie Tolson all
of Indianapolis, IN, Vickie Harris and husband Johnny and Tracey
Mitchell of Macon, MO; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren;
three great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Her parents, husband, one son
Robert Lee Jr., five brothers, two sisters, and one grandaughter
preceded Ella in death.
Funeral Services will be
Saturday, May 30, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Patton Funeral Home in Huntsville.
Burial will be in the Huntsville City Cemetery. Visitation will be
Saturday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at the
funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society or
the American Diabetes Association.
