GEORGIA E. (STENTON)
HARDGROVE,
87, of Eldon, Mo. died Tuesday,
July 14, 2009 at Capital Regional Medical Center in Jefferson City, MO.
Georgia was born June 14, 1922 in Clifton Hill, MO the daughter of
George E. and Lena Lilyan (McLean) Stenton. She married Hugh F.
Hardgrove on September 26, 1942 in Clifton Hill, MO and he survives of
the home.
Survivors include her husband
Hugh F. Hardgrove of Eldon, MO; one son Jon E. Hardgrove and wife Sue of
Eldon, MO; one sister Ruth Wilson of Springfield, MO; two grandchildren
Pamela Grosvenor and husband Todd and Shawn Hardgrove and wife Alona of
Jefferson City, MO; one Great Granddaughter Allison Grosvenor; five
nephews; three nieces and several great nieces and nephews. Her parents,
one brother Tom Stenton and one sister Margaret Patton preceded Mrs.
Hardgrove in death.
Mrs. Hardgrove was a member of
the Clifton Hill Methodist Church. She also was a member of the
Daughters of the American Revolution. Georgia enjoyed genealogy,
traveling and reading.
Funeral Services will be held
11:00 AM Saturday, July 18, 2009 at Patton Funeral Home in Huntsville,
MO. Burial will be in the Clifton Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held
Saturday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Memorials
are suggested to the Clifton Hill Methodist Church.
