VICKIE LEE THOMAS, 70, of Huntsville died Wednesday, December 17, 2008 at Moberly Regional Medical Center. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 A.M. Friday December 19, 2008 at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Moberly. Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. with a prayer service at 4:00 P.M. at Patton Funeral Home in Huntsville. Burial will be in the Huntsville City Cemetery. There will be a visitation held at the church Friday morning from 10:15 to 11:00 A.M.

Vickie was born June 1, 1938 to Benny and Lavona Searson Walters in Culberson Nebraska. Vickie was married to Norman Thomas on Oct 23, 1992 in Moberly, MO he survives her.

Survivors include; husband: Norman Thomas of Huntsville, MO, three children: Jeff Kellogg of Middle Grove, MO, Suzanne Rice State of Allentown, Pennsylvania, Kendra Weis (David) of Moberly, MO, four step children: Tammy Mattox (Craig) of Huntsville, MO, Suzanne Orscheln (David) of Lee Wood, KS, Renee Hammond State of California, John Hammond (Suzanne) of Moberly, MO, one brother: Robert (Champ) Searson of North Carolina, 22 grandchildren: Jennifer Penberthy (Anthony), Josef Kellogg, Benjamin Kellogg, Bret White, Brad Rice, Victoria Rice, Kayla Rice, Blake Weis, Austin Weis, Kennedy Hammond, Dillon Hammond, Mandy Hunter (Travis), Danielle Thomas, Rochelle Falk (Harry), John Fredrick, Tara Reagan, Katie Mattox, Jeremy Mattox, Joe Orscheln (Kate), Dustin Orscheln (Rachel), Scott Orscheln, and Eric Orscheln, several Great Grandchildren: Mrs. Thomas was preceded in death by her parents, and 2 stepchildren, Danny Thomas and Cindy Frederick.

Vickie was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church in Moberly. She also was a avid supporter of the Huntsville Booster Club. Vickie enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. Memorial contribution can be made to the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund or to the Vickie Thomas Living Memorial Scholarship Fund.
