MERLIN E. RILEY,
83, of Huntsville died December
10, 2008 at his home in Huntsville. A Memorial Gathering will be held
from 10:00 AM to Noon Friday, December 12, 2008 at Patton Funeral Home
in Huntsville. Inurnment with full military honors will be held at
3:00 PM Friday at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville,
MO.
Merlin was born December 14,
1924 in Huntsville Missouri to Ernest and Ethel Tilden Riley. He was
married to Ester L. Ryder she survives.
Survivors include his wife of the home, two sons: Merl Riley (Sandra) of
Huntsville, Mo., Tim Riley (Renee) of Jeff City, Mo., one brother:
Melvin Riley (Minnie Lou) of Atlanta, Mo., one sister: Sue Oliver of
Smithville, MO., five grandchildren and several nieces and
nephews.
Mr. Riley was preceded in
death by his parents and one sister Irene Miles.
Memorial can be made to the
Merlin and Esther Riley DR Ozzy Osborne 4H Scholarship Fund.
