JOHN F. CLARK,
75, of Moberly died Tuesday
October 14, 2008 at Loma Linda Health Care Center in Moberly. Funeral
Services will be 11:00 AM Friday October 17. 2008 at Mt. Shiloh Baptist
Church in Darksville. Rev. Hillis Prather will officiate. Burial with
full military honors will follow at 1:00 PM at Missouri State Veterans
Cemetery in Jacksonville Missouri. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00
PM Thursday at Patton Funeral Home in Huntsville.
Mr. Clark was born January 13,
1933 in Hannibal, MO to George W. and Alta W. Duncan Clark. John married
Marilyn Gaines on October 11, 1955 in Centralia, MO. Mr. Clark served
his country in the Army during the Korean Conflict. He was the past
commander of Moberly VFW Post 2654, member of the Old Milton Masonic
Lodge, and a member of Mt. Shiloh Baptist Church. John worked as a
mechanic for Norfolk and Southern Railroad before retiring.
Survivors include: his wife,
one son John D. Clark of Moberly, MO, one daughter Brenda K. McAtee
(Tim) of Cairo, MO, one brother Ray Clark of Cairo, MO, one
granddaughter Annika McAtee of Cairo, MO. Mr. Clark was
preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, and three sisters.
