EMMA PENSA BIRDSONG - March 20, 1925-September 10, 2008

Emma Pensa Birdsong, 83, of Moberly died Wednesday September 10, 2008 at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia. Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Sunday September 14, 2008 at Patton Funeral Home in Huntsville. Rev. Ron Adrian will officiate. Burial will be at Hebron Cemetery in Kaseyville.   Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 PM Saturday at Patton Funeral Home.

Mrs. Birdsong was born March 20, 1925 to Lenon Britt and Hettie Littrell Britt in Kaseyville, MO. She married Lee Birdsong on August 27, 1941 in Callao, MO. He Survives.    Survivors include her Husband,  two sons Charles Leonard Birdsong (Janice) of Clifton Hill, MO, Richard Lee Birdsong (Norma) of Marceline, MO,  three Daughters Vivian Tyler (Michael) of the state of Idaho, Pensa Skidmore (Odis) of Keytesville, MO,  Lynn Richards of Moberly, MO, two Sisters, Mildred Buckner of Tucson Arizonia, Helen Adams of Union, MO, 23 Grandchildren, 56 Great Grandchildren, and two Grt Great Grandchildren, several Nieces and Nephews.   Mrs. Birdsong was preceded in death by a son, a grandson, a grt grandson, eight brothers and one sister.

Pensa had worked many years at Toastmaster in Macon and Moberly. She later worked at NECAC and Little Dixie Regional Library in Moberly.   Mrs. Birdsong was a member of the Hebron Baptist Church, She enjoyed sewing, quilting, and spending time with her friends and family. Memorials can be made to the Hebron Cemetery Fund.
