CLIFFORD REED,
83, died Monday, August 4, 2008
at his home in Moberly. Funeral services will be held at 10:00a.m.
Friday, August 8, 2008 at the Patton Funeral Home in Huntsville with
burial with full military honors in the Huntsville City Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday from 6 till 8:00p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
Mr. Reed was born November 27,
1924 in Kimberly, Mo. the son of Pete and Lillian (Owengs) Reed.
Survivors include four sons, Tommy Reed of Whitsett, TX; Timmy Reed of
Seabrook, TX; Jeff Reed (Holly) of Huntsville, Todd Reed of Huntsville,
three daughter’s Tammy Ochoa (Johnny) of Texas City, TX; Pippa George
(Tim) of Moberly and Tiffany Warren (Lugene) of Huntsville, one
son-in-law, Larry Bohm of Manito, Il; 17 grandchildren, 15 great
grandchildren a several nieces and nephews.
His parents, two daughters
Patricia Reed and Anita Bohm, and three brothers, Sammy, Russel and
Herman Reed, preceded Mr. Reed in death. One sister, Doris Long and
three brothers at infancy.
Clifford served his country in
the United States Army during WWII. He was owner of Reed’s Roofing and
Siding in Huntsville for many years. He was a member of the Odd Fellows
in Huntsville, he enjoyed hunting and fishing and he was a Baptist by
faith.
